Muffinhommage is the result of years long dissatisfaction with the few opportunities that a student gets to explore and express his own personal visual style at my college. For my last project for my bachelor`s degree (I hope this is the correct term) I started to explore styles of other designers by using the motif of a muffin (I`m a big cooking fan, especially of pastries) and designing it the way other designers would. The whole project was gathered in a booklet and was even featured on national television.
School of Bento-for all of you who don´t like to eat in canteens and bakeries
School of Bento is a series of workshops in which you can learn all about the world of bento-the japanese version of lunch in a box. The workshop is held by two friends of mine (Vanessa Šerka and Marina Mijatović) and me. We don´t only teach, we also design all the visuals, as you can see it´s all done in the kawaii way. Each of us embodied herself in a kawaii character (I´m the panda).

In 2012. the School of Bento won the golden bra for best visual identity at the Magdalena festival (International festival for creative communication) in Maribor, Slovenia.
This series of posters started at the beginning of 2010. as a self-initiated project. As a part of the minority of designers that are into Rockabilly, 50s R´n´R, Rhythm and Blues etc I wanted to contribute something to the scene. The result is this series of posters. Unlike other Rockabilly posters that often consist of hot rod and pin-up photos, fonts from Dafont and fire Photoshop brushes, I wanted to reflect the authentic design of that decades (50s, 60s) with role models such as Aleksandar Srnec, Lucienne Day or Charles Harper. All the type was also designed by me. This is just a part of the series.
Bavul is a souvenir shop situated in Korčula, Croatia and the old dalmatian word for a sailors chest.
A couple of posters I did for local gigs, all the type was hand drawn.
This is an augmented reality app for iPhone dedicated to street art. The user can look or create his own art that is based on some real life backplane( a crack in the wall for example). The whole app is accompanied by a cockroach( cro.-žohar) that has the function of the menu. The art can only be seen through the iPhone. Here are a couple of screenshots.
A couple of weeks ago a friend of mine, Darko from Mad Men, called me if I could do a t-shirt design for a benefit gig for him to support his cancer battle. So of course I said yes! Darko wanted a hot rod driving over a crab, at first I wasn´t very fond of the idea, but after a couple of days the idea got to my heart in a wacky-tacky way. And this is the result; a short comic called Cancer Killer. The t-shirts were printed and the gig was a blast.
But unfortunately Darko passed away yesterday.
RIP Darko, we will all miss you. That reverend look suited you the best, I have never ever seen any other person pull it of like you.
Open your legs/ Openyourlegs festival-visual identity
Visual identity for Croatia´s first Psychobilly festival. The typeface, Timon, was designed by myself only for the festival usage. Trying to avoid the typical psychobilly poster look that consists of a photo or illustration of a zombie/pin-up/hot rod/monster etc and a badly used typefaces which were downloaded from the web for free, I created a pattern that consists of typical psychobilly motifs and made the type as clear as possible, but still with a horror feel to it.
